NEWFOUND ROAD FRONTMAN TIM SHELTON SETS FORTH ON SOLO DEBUT WITH MOVING NEW SINGLE “LEARNING HOW TO LIVE ALONE ”

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – August 20, 2014 – An already well-respected frontman and singer in the bluegrass community, Tim Shelton rose to fame with his band NewFound Road. After signing to Rounder, a string of hits and critical praise, Shelton aims to venture into a brand new creative project as a solo artist, combining his love for rock, country, and folk. To introduce his solo effort, Shelton is giving away his first single, “Learning How To Live Alone” free to the public in exchange for an email address via his Facebook.

“I’ve always loved and appreciated all kinds of music, and it was almost nagging at me that I wanted to do something else … I didn’t want to deal with reinventing NewFound Road, I’d been wanting to do other things musically, to go other places, and so I thought, now is the time.”

Recorded in Nashville and produced by Barry Bales, this first single to debut his solo album is both heartbreaking and soothing to the ear that one can empathize about living a lonely, single life. Shelton’s crisp vocals and simple guitar riffs are what make it a solid country song and a memorable anthem.

Honest lyrics and Shelton’s pure voice are what make “Learning How To Live Alone” such a relatable song with it’s repetitive, convincing chorus and steady pace. Shelton’s confident introduction to his full-length debut is only driven by his respected reputation and vision.

“I just want to make music that isn’t necessarily traditional Bluegrass.  I love it, but I also love James Taylor, Jackson Browne, Rock, hard Rock, traditional Country—all of those.  Just music.”

Shelton plans to release a Jackson Browne-inspired album February 2015.

EMERGING SINGER-SONGWRITER ROXANNA TO RELEASE DEBUT ALBUM EXOTICA ON APRIL 29

“I believe the world is hungry to hear songs about love. Enough about bad romance and hate and war. Music should be easy on the ear.”

Entering into the music world with a devastating heartbreak, the incomparable Roxanna penned “Unforgotten,” a sorrowful but soulful song, threaded with hope for tomorrow. “That song was my therapy,” Roxanna notes. “It just poured out of me, and helped me believe all of this happened for a reason.”

With the introduction to Exotica, lead single “Close Your Eyes” takes you on a personal journey with its dramatic storyline and emotional lyrics, Roxanna’s heartfelt message is strongly emphasized by the elegance of her gorgeous vocals.  “There is a light at the end of the tunnel, after every storm there is a rainbow, just an overall hope in the end.”

Roxanna believes, “Music should bring pleasure, it should be elegant and relaxing. It’s all about friendship, pleasure, romance, love and beauty.” Roxanna’s world of experience is translated through her passion for music and songwriting. She was born in Iran in the midst of an ongoing war with Iraq. As a child, she turned to music for balance and tranquility, religiously mimicking the English-language songs of Olivia Newton-John.

After traveling the world and experiencing both heartbreak and love, Roxanna has teamed up with the best in the industry to release Exotica, a collection of stories that are universal and inspiring.

Roxanna is determined to craft every song and lyric as relatable to whomever will take a listen with the intention to always spread love and healing through her romantic songs and stories.  It was while studying to be a nurse that Roxanna witnessed first hand the healing power of music. Roxanna sang each night to a young man battling cancer. When he was released, the man’s father said to her, “My son is better because of the way you sang to him.” With that, she realized that music, like medicine is a great healer and it was then hat she realized she needed to pursue signing as a career.

For her full-length album, she contacted well-known producer Mark Portmann credited with working with Julio Iglesias, Barbra Streisand, and Christina Aguilera. It was her rendition of Aguilera’s “Lift Me Up” that convinced Portmann to bring Roxanna under his wing. And what spawned from their collaboration was Exotica, a seamless, mastered mix of adult contemporary, classic pop, and world music.

Listening through the album, you’ll be taken on a journey of love … from the first moment of flirtation to the confidence you find with everlasting love.

Featuring a string of romantic songs including new renditions of The Hollies 1972 hit song, “The Air That I Breathe,” and Lionel Richie’s 1984 smash hit, “Hello”.

ACCLAIMED SINGER SONGWRITER BRANDON MCHOSE RELEASES NEW HEARTFELT BALLAD “GOODBYE” AVAILABLE NOW ON ITUNES!

August 28, 2012, Los Angeles, CA…After the success of his 2012 EP release, Late Night, independent singer/songwriter Brandon Mchose returns to the spotlight once again with his new radio single “Goodbye”.  Tugging on his fans heartstrings, Brandon lays it all on the table with this deep ballad “Goodbye” which is now available on iTunes. Accompanying Brandon’s newest single is the official video to the track and which can also be viewed on Brandon McHose’s YouTube Page.
Brandon McHose encompasses the word “multi-tasker” as he continues to tour, promote his recent EP, and prepare for his next EP release set for 2013. Somewhere in his busy schedule he found time to give his fans another single and music video which certainly lives up to his highly regarded reputation. Earlier this year Hellhound Music called Brandon “a bit of an anomaly, equally adept in finger-picking an acoustic guitar or in spanning the breadth and array of music”. Indie Music Digest states “the guitar work from McHose is masterful”.  Not taking the kind words lightly Brandon says that it is his goal to continue to surprise his already loyal fans.
Teaming up with fellow musicians Chris Maresh, Wayne Salzmann and David Boyle, Brandon recalls the recording session as relaxing, comfortable and a great place to produce something he is proud of.  Taking in the large ceilings, the vintage gear, and the musical energy of previous artists who have recorded there including Gavin Degraw and Justin Timberlake, Brandon was able to create “Goodbye” in just two days. He recalls the two days of recording by referencing the positive vibes of his band mates as well as the feel of an old historic church as the combination that created a touch so magical and special that is embedded into the recording.
A combination of blissful pop and rock guitar riffs and the emotional lyrics behind “Goodbye to You” make the track a memorizing ballad. Drawing the lyrics and emotion behind the song from a personal experience Brandon channels the energy into soaring vocals and hypnotizing harmonies. Shooting the newest video in the Church House Studios shows the softer side of McHose, with the simple white walls and high vaulted ceilings the video showcases the music and the artist.  Countering the deeper emotions of the song, the video has a refreshing feeling with light, space and positive energy. Stripping away the show aspects that often inundate the music industry, McHose shows his fan base how his music is truly created.
2012 has been a monumental year for Brandon McHose. With the release of Brandon’s EP, “Late Night”, resulted in success from radio, extensive touring opportunities nationwide and industry professionals raving about his latest recordings.  MuzikReviews.com called Brandon “an artist to watch” while the Examiner said the “world is ready for a new sensitive singer/songwriter”.  Brandon’s upbeat tracks and rocking vocals and consistent nonstop touring around the United States and frequent releasing of new music and singles are factors that set him apart from the traditional singer/songwriters of today and a talented musician and vocalist to be on the lookout for in the future.
