Leading into 2011, bona fide chart queen ERIKA JAYNE has triumphantly returned to the #1 spot for the fifth consecutive time on Billboard’s “Hot Dance Club Play” chart this week. She’s vaulted to this spot with the sizzling “One Hot Pleasure,” propelled by a stable of killer remixes by Dave Aude, Ralphi Rosario, Sultan & Ned Shepard and DJ Mr. White plus a glittering video co-directed by famed photographer Mike Ruiz and MTV Video Music Award Nominee Mikey Minden.
The song--written and produced by Dave Aude and co-written with Nick Clow and Luciana (“I Like That”)--was released last month as the debut track on ERIKA’s Pretty Mess Records label. ERIKA’S previous singles “Rollercoaster,” “Stars,” “Give You Everything” and “Pretty Mess” from her debut album Pretty Mess also hit the #1 position this chart. “One Hot Pleasure”’s peak at #1 tops tracks by Katy Perry, Cher and Enrique Iglesias (featuring Ludacris and DJ Frank E) solidifying her as a major player in the pop and dance worlds.

Known for her alluring vocals, catchy melodies and electro beats, not to mention an infectious taste of decadence, pop vocalist, songwriter and performer Erika Jayne is a force to be reckoned with. The Atlanta-born, Los Angeles transplant hit #1 on Billboard’s dance charts with her first hit single “Rollercoaster.” It was soon followed by three more number one singles including “Stars,” “Give You Everything” and most recently “Pretty Mess.” According to Billboard, only thirteen acts have taken their first four hits to number one since the chart launched in 1976. Erika joins the ranks of dance giants, including Rihanna and The Pussycat Dolls, who have accomplished similar feats. She has been distinguished by industry powerhouse Billboard magazine and industry insiders for this “uncommon feat.”
