(APRIL, 2016)- Electronic dance vocalist, Lexxica; known for her dynamic sound and broad range in vocals gets ready to drop her latest single, “Hearts Collide” due out April 22, 2016. This is the second release off of her upcoming EP which will be available this summer.

The rising artist was recently featured as “Artist of the Month” in Raver Magazine. “With her distinct sultry sound fused with melodic good vibes of electro, house and even dubstep, her tracks will make you jump out of your seat and set you free” (Raver Mag, 37). The magazine conducted an interview with Lexxica for its March issue; highlighting her upcoming EP.

Grammy nominated producer, Rusty Varenkamp produced “Hearts Collide” as well as, the rest of the tracks on Lexxica’s upcoming EP release. Also, Varenkamp and Lexxica worked together to write the lyrics for “Hearts Collide.”

“Hearts Collide” combines an upbeat and high-energy bass with expressive and stirring lyrics. The dreamy synths accentuates the poetic imagery of Lexxica and Varenkamp’s songwriting. “Hearts Collide” describes a love struck feeling; igniting a spark that arises between a love interest. Her belting vocals heighten the thrill and excitement of the song. This track holds a steady and fast tempo bass that emphasizes her electronic sound and positive energy that keeps her fans coming back for more.

Lexxica continues to assert her love for electronic music in each of her releases; “Hearts Collide” carries on the sense of exhilarating passion in both her lyrics and her vocals. “I think you have to get inspired by the music, the lyrics-get lost in the translation of the two, Lexxica continues. “When I get inside the studio, I dance, I move, I light candles all over the studio, and close my eyes, and everything else fades away,” she says.

Electronic- pop singer, C’nky Siwela, showcases his second worldwide digital release, “My Name in the Echo,” available now!

This South African sensation won “Best Afro-Pop Artist” at the SACRA Awards following the release of his debut album, “Reminiscent of the Sounds.” Gearing up for his second full-length album, C’nky releases his second single which truly displays C’nky’s well-rounded music capabilities as a vocalist. 

“My Name in the Echo” drifts away from his first electro-pop release, “Distant Cry,” and dives into a breaking wave of tropical guitar riffs that are blended into a deep house track. C’nky’s soulful vocals express a sense of struggle and disorientation while patiently waiting for “the voice of reason” to guide him. The track relates back to when C’nky was initially trying to discover himself as an artist. He was continuously being discouraged from others around him and started to be surrounded by negative forces that led him to even worse experiences. However, C’nky regained his strength and found enlightenment that guided him out of his lull. South Africa based, Electro/Pop singer, C’nky Siwela has announced the digital release of his debut single “Distant Cry” for June 19, 2015 via iTunes. Siwela has been garnering considerable buzz in South Africa; in 2014 he won the award for Best Afro-Pop Artist at the SACRA Awards following the release of his album, Reminiscent of the Sounds. With his new single and upcoming album, Another Side of Me on; C’nky is ready to further broaden his market into the United States.

“Distant Cry” (featuring rapper/producer Louis M. If you do not see C’nky singing or playing the flute live at a music conference or awards ceremony (in Joannesburg, South Africa), he may be at any of the following institutions; Tsa Lapeng Music Initiative, C’nky Siwela Flute Institute (CSFI) and Hammanskraal Joyful Sounds, where he serves as the Artistic and Educational director. The objective of CSFI is to provide young classically trained flautists (in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Northwest and Limpopo Province) the opportunity to strengthen the role of flautists in South African Jazz.
