EPIC RECORDS/LEGACY RECORDINGS ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF STRANGE EUPHORIA, THE FIRST DEFINITIVE CAREER-SPANNING RETROSPECTIVE OF HEART, CURATED BY ANN WILSON AND NANCY WILSON

Historic 3CD/1DVD Box Set Available Everywhere Tuesday, June 5

Epic Records and Legacy Recordings proudly announce the release of Strange Euphoria, the first definitive career-spanning, multi-label boxed set retrospective chronicling the seminal American rock band Heart, personally curated by Ann Wilson and Nancy Wilson.

A carefully-considered anthology of biggest hits and best-loved songs set alongside deep catalog treasures, rarities, demos and live performances, Strange Euphoria, three compact discs and one DVD in a deluxe box, will be available everywhere Tuesday, June 5.

"In all the years we have been making music we have seen trends come and go,” said Ann Wilson.   “We have always felt that to try and chase the latest ‘it’ sound is pointless, and we have tried to remain true to ourselves as songwriters and musicians.  Sometimes we have had amazing success and heard ourselves on the radio...other times not so much, but the music is always playing in our house.  In this box we have included many things that until now have never seen the light of day.  Also here are our favorite deep tracks and live moments that really speak to who we are on the stage and the connection between us and the people who show up to rock.  Enjoy this collection.  It has many facets just like we do, but the spirit running through it is all Heart."

Ann Wilson and her younger sister, Nancy Wilson, first showed the world that women can rock when their band Heart stormed the charts in the 1970s with hits like "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," "Barracuda," 'Straight On," "Even It Up," "Kick It Out," and many more.  Not only did the Wilson sisters lead the band, they wrote the songs and played the instruments, making them the first women in rock to do so.  Heart continued topping the charts through the '80s and into the '90s with huge hits like "These Dreams," "Alone," "Never," and a string of other hits that showcased the sisters' enormous talents as both musicians and singers. Along the way, Heart sold more than 35 million records, had 21 top 40 hits, sold out arenas worldwide, and profoundly influenced the sound and direction of American rock music while inspiring women (and guys too!) around the world to rock out in bands of their own.

Heart were 2008 recipients of VH1 Rock Honors, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Northwest Grammy Foundation,  and received ASCAP's award for Excellence in Songwriting in 2009.

In August 2010, Red Velvet Car, the first new studio album in six years from Heart, entered the Billboard 200 best-selling album charts at #10, becoming the seventh Top 10 album of the group's career.  The group's first album for Legacy Recordings, Red Velvet Car marked the return of the group to the Sony Music Entertainment family, reaching #1 in sales on Amazon.com in September.

What's made Heart endure across four decades and 13 studio albums, from Dreamboat Annie (1976) through Red Velvet Car (2010), is simply the quality of the music and the Wilsons' ability to connect to the emotions and experiences of their audience.  Strange Euphoria represents the first time Ann and Nancy have personally curated a collection of their work and is the only time they've opened up their vaults for demos and rarities never heard by the public. The set includes song-by-song annotations, anecdotes, and commentary by the Wilson sisters.

JUNO AWARD WINNING JAZZ SINGER KELLYLEE EVANS SET FOR NEW YORK HEADLINING DEBUT AT APOLLO MUSIC CAFE, MAY 11TH

(New York, NY) April 19, 2012... Juno Award winning Canadian jazz singer Kellylee Evans will make her debut New York headlining performance at the Apollo Music Cafe on Friday, May 11, 2012, as part of the second annual Harlem Jazz Shines Festival, which runs from May 7-13, 2012. Evans will be featuring material from her inspiring tribute to jazz icon Nina Simone, entitled NINA, which earned her a 2011 Juno Award for BEST JAZZ VOCAL ALBUM. Her show at the Apollo Music Cafe, which is located on the second floor of the legendary Apollo Theater in Harlem, will start at 10:00 PM. Doors will open at 9 PM.

Evans, who was recently signed to Universal Music/France, and is recording material for her next CD, will be performing with a jazz trio of internationally renowned musicians including Francois Moutin on Acoustic Bass, Marvin Sewell on guitar, and Mark McClean on drums. Both Moutin and Sewell recorded NINA with Evans, (in Paris) and Moutin has performed with her several times in noted clubs and music festivals throughout France since the record was released last year.

The Harlem-wide jazz festival reunites the Festival's founding partners, the Apollo Theater, Harlem Stage and Jazzmobile, and focuses on the venues, music, and artists that were central to Harlem's cultural landscape from the 1920s through the 1970s and on contemporary jazz artists. Bringing both established and emerging artists to famed Harlem venues, the festival will pay tribute to Club Harlem, Clark Monroe's Uptown House, Havana San Juan Club, Small's Paradise, Minton's Playhouse, Showman's Cafe, Park Palace, Lenox Lounge and the Apollo Theater. In addition to concerts at Jazz Shrines, other Festival events will take place at Harlem Stage Gatehouse, Columbia University and a variety of locations throughout the Harlem area.

Designed to draw a diverse audience of neighborhood residents, New Yorkers and tourists, all events are offered at the affordable price of $10, and tickets for many of the Harlem Jazz Shrines Festival events are available now. Concerts are scheduled to allow people the option of attending several events each day, continuing the tradition of non-stop jazz throughout Harlem. For tickets and more information on the Festival and its partners, visit the Harlem Jazz Shrines' web site at www.Harlemjazzshrines.org and/or the organizations' web sites at www.apollotheater.org, www.harlemstage.org and www.jazzmobile.org.

NINA (released by Plus Loin Records in France and Canada) is Kellylee Evan’s third solo release. She independently released GOOD GIRL (2008) and FIGHT OR FLIGHT? (That earned a Juno Nomination in 2006). She drew early critical-acclaim for capturing second place at the prestigious Thelonius Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition, and has toured extensively throughout Canada. She has also performed in the US, France, Greece, and earlier this year performed at the Festival International de Jazz de Port-au-Prince in Haiti. LUKAS NELSON & PROMISE OF THE REAL SET TO EMBARK ON “THE WASTED TOUR”

Dates Set To Begin In May In Support of Just Released New Album

Los Angeles- For the past few years, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real have not left a stage without gaining a dozen new fans and more accolades from music critics nationwide. Reverb magazine wrote of a recent Denver show, “The largely female, enthusiastic crowd kept their eyes open, because Nelson’s energetic stage presence is a treat. He’s an affable performer with an infectious grin, and his guitar solos are often punctuated with leaps — the kid catches some serious air.”

Other shows have garnered similar praise. The Baltimore Sun extols, “pounding out vibrant blues/rock riffs with propulsive flair…Nelson and his band had the audience on its feet by the end of their set.” The Salt Lake City Weekly calls their live shows “electrifying performances,” while Fort Worth Weekly notes that the band “blows away crowds at every opportunity.”

And now Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real are set to start a new year of touring with “The Wasted Tour.” Named for their second full-length album, Wasted, which was released this week and that No Depression touted as “the first great album of Lukas Nelson’s career. He pulls no punches and gives his listeners a lot of credit to weather the ups and downs of this often intense and challenging music.”

Lukas Nelson jokes about what the live hubbub is all about: “It’s Tato’s sex appeal! He just gets the women excited,” laughs the singer-songwriter-guitarist of his percussionist Tato Melgar. But, seriously, Nelson says their much talked about live shows are simply a result of giving 100% “And maybe we’re just lucky to have been struck by a source of inspiration that a lot of people connect with,” he says.

Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real is taking that inspiration to the stage for a series of record release shows in April, including a performance on the Late Show with David Letterman the evening of the release of the album which you can see here: http://youtu.be/gM0dNzD3wVU. Following will be their first big tour, “The Wasted Tour,” on May 2. The first leg of that tour will run for 35 dates through June 16. The band has been playing some of the album’s tracks live already, such “The Joint,” which recently reached #1 on Skydog’s Red Dirt Radio (reddirtradio.blogspot.com), as well as the first single and title track, “Wasted,” and other album tracks, “Can You Hear Me Love You” (which features Nelson’s sister Amy on vocals on the record), “Don’t Take Me Back,” and “Wasn’t That Great.” Though, the hope is to eventually play the band’s entire debut full-length, 2010’s Promise of the Real, and all of Wasted. “These songs are really jammy and really fun to play live,” adds drummer Anthony LoGerfo, who, along with bassist Corey McCormick, rounds out the four-piece rock band.

Of the band’s live magic, LoGerfo explains, “I think it just comes from some sort of light, some sort of spirit. I truly believe that. This band is about giving the message of love and giving the message of living. So when we get up there we want to just go for it 100% and give everything we have. Otherwise, there is no reason for us to be there. We don’t have a bunch of bells and whistles, like tracks and fire blowing up onstage. It’s just the four of us, but we make up for it with our energy.”

Indie Rock Band The Glammers Release New Single And Video For “Six Hours Later” From Forthcoming Debut Album

April 12, 2012 (Los Angeles, CA) - After a few single releases and a growing fan base, the indie rock band, The Glammers have reemerged to release their highly anticipated single and video “Six Hours Later”. The single is a teaser for what is to come in their debut full length album out later this year and talks about the band’s first encounter played in the purest indie rock style. Syd, She and Rex Glammer, the group members, wanted to tell the story of how they met; each of them coming from different countries and backgrounds.

THE SETTING: a pub in Edinburgh, Scotland, where indie bands gather to play their music.

THE STARS: a Scottish guitarist and singer (Syd Glammer), a French drummer (Rex Glammer), and an Argentinean bassist (She Glammer), all in their twenties.

THE SCENE: in 2007, three young musicians meet one night, become friends, and form a band that rocked Myspace.com with their indie sounds. The result is the power trio THE GLAMMERS (www.theglammers.com), now launching their new single, “Six Hours Later”.

Let’s discover a little bit more about each member of THE GLAMMERS.

SYD GLAMMER, the guitarist and lead singer, was born to Scottish parents (an unconventional couple - an inventor and an archeologist). Introverted but very creative, Syd spent his childhood listening to his father’s vinyl records – Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and The Doors. When his parents were tragically killed in a plane crash, Syd enrolled in art school in Edinburgh, his hometown. Syd is dedicated to his passion - rock and roll from the 60s and 70s and collecting vintage sound equipment.

REX GLAMMER, the drummer, was born in Annecy, France, and is the son of a hippie couple who lived in an agricultural community in the Alps. Rex’s grandparents participated in the historic May 1968 student uprising in Paris and Rex carries on these same political convictions. Among his favorite music artists are The Kinks, The Who, Leonard Cohen, and Patti Smith. He also loves Banksy’s graffiti and always explores the cities he visits, photographing graffiti for his collection.

SHE GLAMMER, the bassist, is an Argentinean girl from Buenos Aires, but could be considered a world citizen since she spent her childhood travelling with her parents who are diplomats. Fascinated by drawings, tattoos and fashion, SHE listens to Blondie, Madonna (of course!), Velvet Underground, Sex Pistols, and David Bowie. When she was 17, she packed her bags, put her bass in her backpack and traveled the world playing in different bands.

The first two songs from THE GLAMMERS to debut in Myspace were “Messensheriff” and “Don’t Lose It” (listen at www.theglammers.com). The hit songs had more than 1.5 million views (music and videos) and after these releases, THE GLAMMERS took some time to renew their passion to create cool indie rock music.

The global launch of “Six Hours Later”, planned for today, brings back the band’s indie roots, the rough lyrics, and the stylish universe of a band that transcends reality in search of an experience that goes beyond music. The single will be sold on iTunes and Amazon.com, in addition to other online stores (learn more at the band’s official website: www.theglammers.com).

R&B Legend Bunny Sigler Releases "From Bunny With Love"

Featuring The New Single, “Nobody Else For Me” Due Out April 17, 2012

Los Angeles, CA – The legendary, the soulful, the masterful, Mr. Emotion, Walter “Bunny” Sigler releases his latest R&B album From Bunny With Love, featuring the single “Nobody Else For Me” and is available on CD Baby, iTunes and on Bunny’s website on April 17 (http://www.bunnysigler.net/home.cfm).

Walter “Bunny” Sigler learned the power of music and the emotional quality of funk as a child, in the Emmanuel Baptist church in Philadelphia, PA. While still in his adolescence, Bunny, his brother and two other young men made up The Opals, his first vocal and musical group. Since then Sigler is a four-time Grammy award winner and nominee who has been a writer, producer or recording artist on thousands of recorded CDs. He is known internationally as a great performer and orignator of the Philly Sound for Gamble & Huff, and for his portrayal of the title role in Verdi’s Othello, at the Biennale Festival in Venice, Italy.

His work with Leon Huff and Kenny Gamble was instrumental in the development of The Philadelphia Sound and the distinction genre known as “Philly Soul”, as well as the climb to R&B legacy that Philadelphia International Records experienced since the 1960s. He has over four decades of multi-gold and platinum recordings both as a writer and producer for artists like The O’Jays, Jackie Moore, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Barbara Mason, Billy Paul, Lou Rawls, Patti LaBelle and Stephanie Mills.

More recently, The Roots, Outkast, and Mary J. Blige are among a few arists who have all used Bunny Sigler’s music. Nelly’s 2002 smash hit, “Dilemma” was co-written by Bunny and for ten weeks it replaced Nelly’s previous #1 from that year, “Hot In Herre” on charts throughout the world. He also co-wrote “The Ruler’s Back”, the opening song on the widely respected and critically acclaimed album The Blueprint by Jay-Z.

The twelve original tracks on this newest album, From Bunny With Love are evidence that Bunny remains a musical and creative powerhouse. From the melodious and heartfelt “My Sweet Lorraine” to the furtive “Unspoken Words,” which expresses the widely familliar pains of a growing, father-child relationship. The captivating single, “Nobody Else for Me” speaks of finding that right someone and holding on to her through all of life’s detours. Hear Bunny’s sweet emotion with the lyrics of “I Wish”: a universal prayer for peace and better times in the world. To close out the album Bunny bestows his infinitismal funk and groove upon his listeners with “Face The Music,” to leave them with a reminder that as long as we have music to be sung or beats to be heard the heart of Philly will play out forever.

So sit back, relax and feel the love, funk, and soul as only Bunny Sigler can perform with his gift to you “From Bunny With Love.”

Easy to access, go to www.venmundi.com, register as a member which is FREE to all and see a preview and purchase the on demand view for $5.

Elvin Bishop comments, "I’ve enjoyed working with VenMundi on this project – they respect and understand what artists want. Not only was I able to do the show and stream it live from the Club Fox but now I’m able to get the Video on Demand (VOD) of the performance to my fans!"

Bishop’s December concert marked a world-wide first when VenMundi broke down geographic barriers making this rare show available to fans around the globe by streaming the concert live, and now on-demand, through www.venmundi.com . This was the first public demonstration of VenMundi’s patented capabilities.

VenMundi was created when software developer and entertainer Ron Parks was traveling in London, listening to Jazz artists in numerous clubs. He reflected on how great it was to hear the music and how sad it was that the world could not be there. With the new capabilities in streaming and technology, he wanted to provide a way for the artists to reach fans wherever they are, whenever they want it on their computers, home entertainment systems, tablets and mobile devices.

Ron Parks, VenMundi Founder explains, “VenMundi lets musicians reach their fans live and in-person and simultaneously via streaming video on the Internet with a level of visual quality and audio clarity rarely found online. Even better, fans can soon queue up concerts from their favorite artist’s on-demand so they get what they want, when and how they want it with uncompromised quality and an experience that is almost as good as being there.”

VenMundi.com is a portal, providing live and video on-demand content on the Internet for a price per event through laptops, Smartphones, tablets and home entertainment centers. Although the initial focus is on the entertainment industry, the possibilities are endless. VenMundi’s patented process includes the workflow and the documents that allow the artist, the venue and the viewer to participate in a VenMundi broadcast. We are the “easy button” for Artists, Venues and Fans.

Barbra Higgins, VenMundi President adds, “We launched our company with this great partnership with Elvin Bishop. He has a dedicated following around the world, as a result Elvin’s live performance at the Fox was sold out. But now through VenMundi’s platform and subsequent sales of the VOD, thousands more can enjoy the show where ever they like. Comments from our recent test events indicate patrons are excited to have access to the music they love from the artists they have followed for years when, where and how they want it through VenMundi’s high quality live and on-demand streaming capabilities.”

VenMundi’s patented process enables the uninterrupted transmission of the content, which by using our methodology is of the highest quality and manages the revenues and fan base in an efficient, accessible, easy-to-use format. Every aspect of the licensing and contractual complexities of the music and entertainment industry is addressed effectively. VenMundi is not only poised to be the de-facto destination for live entertainment on the web, but also the Internet equivalent of a lecture/seminar hall, auditorium, theater, stadium, fundraiser event, and much more. In addition, VenMundi will provide artists the opportunity to market their performances via VOD from the live shows. The full entire concert DVD will be made available for purchase on May 27th at the Santa Cruz Blues Festival and will be available in stores shortly thereafter.

FORMER CONTESTANT OF THE TELEVISION SERIES “THE VOICE” GEOFF MCBRIDE FEATURED ON JAZZ ARTIST HULON’S LATEST RELEASE ALBUM “AFTER HOURS”...

FORMER contestANT OF THE TELEVISION SERIES “The Voice” Geoff McBride featured on Jazz Artist Hulon’s LATEST RELEASE Album “After Hours” SHOWCASING NEW COVER OF THE CLASSIC WEDDING ANTHEM “ALWAYS & FOREVER”

Los Angeles, CA – Hailing from Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, the NBC’s “The Voice” former contestant Geoff McBride has turned heads in Hollywood, literally, as his appearance in “The Voice” under judge Christina Aguilera’s team. Geoff McBride captivated and stunned the audience and judges alike with his rendition of Stevie Wonder’s ‘Higher Ground’ but was eliminated a few weeks ago with a challenging rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Chain Of Fools”. Geoff received flattering reviews by the judges and ultimately had to choose between Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green as his singing coach when he made his debut on the show earlier this season. In the end it was Christina Aguilera’s’ quick “yes” that stole his heart and ultimately was bestowed the title as his coach. Geoff is currently trying to stay focused on music and has recently performed to three consecutive sold-out shows at the First Note Music Hall in Florida.

This was not Geoff McBride’s first singing spotlight, as he is currently featured on jazz artist Hulon’s, second album release After Hours. Geoff’s sensational vocals are showcased on the track “Always and Forever”, the classic love ballad originally by Heatwave in 1978. The album is currently grabbing admiring reviews and is currently charting on SmoothJazz.com and SmoothIndieStar.com and other jazz based radio charts.

Hulon’s debut album, First Impressions spent 15 weeks on the Billboard Jazz Charts and features the single “Sax on the Beach” which reached #16 on the Smooth Jazz.com Top 20 Indie Chart. Hulon’s second album “After Hours” is proving to be just as successful as Hulon’s debut album.

Check out Geoff McBride’s vocals on Hulon’s latest release “After Hours”, available now on iTunes or his website (www.hulon.com).

Meanwhile, radio programmers are not only playing “Wasted” nationwide, but are giving some love to “The Joint,” a crowd favorite from the new record, as well.

“The Joint” has just reached No. 1 on Skydog’s Red Dirt Radio (http://reddirtradio.blogspot.com/) in Laurens, South Carolina, which is also playing “Wasted” and “Ain’t No Answer” from the release. “The Joint” started out on their “Outlaws” show but quickly rose in popularity and was promptly added to their general playlist, where it currently sits at No. 1 out of 250 songs.

With several album-pleasers to choose from, “Wasted,” the feel-good tune with a strutty vibe that kicks off with an instantly infectious retro-sounding “Wa-Oh-a-Oh-Woah,” was chosen as the official first single from the album due to the rabid fan reaction the song has been garnering on the road. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Lukas Nelson explains the song’s inspiration: “I had just finished Keith Richards’ book Life, when I wrote that song. It was kind of influenced by the Stones and I wanted the song to be something that reflected our live show and that I could really move to onstage.”

The gritty rocker goes like this:

Chasing love and money
Never leave your honey
Taking all your time
Changing on a dime
It all comes clear when you lose the years
Don't make the same mistake
I made when I was your age
I got wasted

Yes, I got wasted

Nelson explains that “Wasted” is directly about last summer on tour when he wrote this song and the other 13 that make up the album. “I was up every night until the wee hours of the morning just writing in the back of the bus,” he explains. “I had a lot of ideas and was very inspired being out there on that tour; there was a lot going on. This record is a snapshot of that time. You know, there were a lot of pressures on the road and there are a lot of people who view touring as just one big party. It was like summer camp. I soon realized I wasn’t really being myself and I had a big wake-up call and it’s during that time that I wrote this record.”

But as the lyrics convey, this isn’t a song and record glamorizing the party life. Quite the contrary; the song is more of a warning to not waste your life, your time, your love, your creativity, or your best years. “I have a lot of reflections about the honesty of people in general,” Nelson explains, “and this record explores big life questions and what it means to waste your life away. That said, ‘Wasted’ is also just a great rockin’ live song that is a lot of fun to perform and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”

The band - which also includes drummer Anthony LoGerfo, percussionist Tato Melgar and bassist Corey McCormick – is currently on tour and will be racking up the miles for the remainder of 2012.
